Kelly Coffey-Meyer's 30 Minutes to Fitness: Slim Sculpting is geared toward improving your fitness level using only a kettlebell or a single dumbbell. It's important to note that using a kettlebell really does amp up the workout! Both workouts require great form and precise execution: there are no over-the-top positions and no over-stressing impact on the joints. All the controlled moves demonstrated are geared toward slimming down your hips and outer thighs, trimming your waistline, tightening your glutes, sculpting your arms and burning lots of calories! But remember: form is crucial! Because the selection of exercises target each muscle group without over-taxing your body, these workouts fit in nicely with my philosophy that everyone should train smarter! It's important to note that although I do use traditional kettlebell (KB) moves, not all of the usual exercises are included. After leading numerous test classes in Olympic lifting and KBs, I have taken out a few standard moves that I determined to be too technical for many. Performing these moves incorrectly not only brings minimal benefits but can really increase the risk of injury. So instead of focusing on moves like cleans and snatches, I have focused on the swings because the swings are the keystone in KB training. Make sure you check out the premixes on this DVD as they offer many different workout options!

Yoga for Breast Cancer DVD for Patients and Survivors - Thriving Yoga
Brand: Thriving Yoga's Yoga for Breast Cancer
Yoga for Cancer is the first DVD created exclusively to address the needs of breast cancer battlers and survivors. The yoga poses were chosen not only for their stress reducing and energizing properties, but also to address the unique needs of breast cancer battlers. It incorporates a special series of poses that will increase flexibility, bring healing energy to the areas that need it most, calm the nervous system, and relax the mind and body.
We are just beginning to understand the profound impact and power of the mind-body connection as it relates to cancer. Studies have shown that women with breast cancer who participated regularly in yoga classes were more relaxed, experienced less pain and fatigue, had better quality of life, and were half as likely to be depressed than their counterparts. We seek to complement traditional medicine and treatments with our healing and restorative yoga practice.
The video creates active energy through standing poses, restorative energy through mat poses, and mental and physical relaxation from meditation. The practice can be done in the privacy of your home, with friends, or in a communal setting with other survivors. Our goal is to move from surviving breast cancer to thriving after breast cancer.
50% of all videos produced are donated to cancer care centers and hospitals to share with patients.
What if I told you that you could get into fantastic cardio shape by doing as little as four minutes of exercise? Sound too good to be true? Not when it comes to Tabata training. Tabata training has been around for a very long time but has recently been gaining more and more popularity in the fitness industry. Tabata training is a short but very intense type of training workout that improves your aerobic capacity as well as your ability to burn fat long after you have finished your workout. It generally consists of eight high-intensity 20-second intervals, each followed by a 10-second recovery. This may sound easy on paper, but trust me, it is not! I have created Tabatacise to reflect this type of Tabata training. The workout consists of five different four-minute Tabata workouts. Each of the five Tabata workouts is followed by a step recovery blast. Since your maximum heart rate will often exceed 90%, I have included these recovery blasts to help bring your heart rate down in a more controlled manner. But beware, there is just a teeny, tiny blast hidden in those recovery periods. Because Tabatacise is so tough, I suggest you gradually work up to doing it in stages or levels. With each new level you attempt, you'll add one new additional Tabata to your routine working up to a total of five Tabatas. By the way, you may choose to never do Tabatacise in its entirety which is totally fine, too. Another bonus is that it can be used as an add-on to any of your other workouts when ...
